According to the equality Act (2010) there is a duty to make adjusments.This links in with health and social care as enabling to make adjusment can empower individuals as the adjustments made can benefit the individual.The equilty act is all about giving indivudual equal opportuniites this empowers individuals as no idivudual is left out and they feel they can do activites everyone elses can do.The boundries linking to the equality act are it may not be possible to give equal opportunities depending on curcanstances such as funding,staff,equimptment.

make thier care and safety your main concern, ensure thier didgnity is preserved and their needs ar recognised, assessed and responed to. you also need to enusre  that their rights are upheld.
SECTION 1 - Part 1.5 states that human right should be respeeted and upheld. 
SECTION 2 states that individuals preferences and concerns need to be listened to and responded to. in order to achieve this partnership working with the service user should be put into place. Part 2.3 'encourage and empower people to share decisisons about treatment and care.'
By empowering service users they will feel more confident with the car and treatment they recieve. 
Boundaries which could affect empowering service users include funding as a service user may want to go out one day, however funding may not be able to ful fil this

Advocacy services need to be focused on the person they are working with. One way of achieving this is to ensure that people who do, or may, use the advocacy service have meaningful influence over the direction of that service. 
As advocacy is about increasing the amount of control that people have over their own lives, advocacy services need to ensure they are working in a way that fosters independence. It is important to create a culture that promotes individual empowerment and to develop methods to determine outcomes with clients and measure the effectiveness of the advocacy relationship.

its promote and protect the intreset of service users. carers have a right to respect other people dignaty and privacy. so a carer must invovle the indidivuals choices when desicions have been made about their care. Carers must have the indidvuals consent to provide any care that they require. 
when empowering the indidvual should always know what is happening with thier care.
boundiers applied to practice is when you as a indidivual must not do anything or allow someone else to do anything which is at risk of danger. 
6.3 as an indidiual who is giving care you should be your own judge for example physical and mental health can effect your preforcement which is putting others at risk
