As I received email and notification last time with the offer letter, I was reminded to attend an orientation for new comer on 8:30am. I reached there earlier and was guide to claim my employee card, goodies bags, safety shoes and a checklist. 

After a warm welcoming from Senior Manager of People Management Development (Ms Chia), our orientation start with ice breaking and fully scheduled with tasks, policies, function and every important things about my company, ViTrox Corporation.

I was assigned to People Culture Department, which mainly focus on human resource admin task, corporate event, employee welfare, facilities and etc. ViTrox is an amazing company that mainly focus on 5 cores value which is I.A.C.T.G which is Integrity, Accountability, Courage, Trust & Respect and Gratitude & Care. My head manager Ms Su is a caring person and ask me to enjoy my internship life and gain more experience during working there.

Lastly, one of my colleague was appointed as my Mentor for my Internship Period. His name is Chin Hoong. He bring me around the corporation. He told me do not hesitate to ask him if I face any problem during my internship. That's all for my first day.

Orientation for internship ended at 3 p.m. and we was notified that there will be an quiz for us.

Besides, today I was learnt about the first facilities management. I was assigned to assist rearrange, duplicate, checking all the key for table, cabinet, storage to ensure provide best facilities for employee.

Besides, my colleague taught me the skill on how they solve problem on site and checking all the details that is necessary.The second day and third day of this week, I did my daily routine job task and participate in Orientation part 2 with company CEO (Mr Chu Jenn Weng). Mr Chu sharing his experience and how ViTrox was build with along two of his partner. Mr Chu did also explained and sharing with us how important of I.A.C.T.G core value is established and cultivate as ViTrox Corporate Culture.

Unfortunately I was sick and claim medical certificate on Tuesday (4 Apr) due to tonsillitis.
Me and my colleagues focus on site inspection on new building and giving feedback to consultant, main contractor and architech for rectification and touch up work.
For the flooring system, we still unable to make a conclusion as we are first time to handle it and we are unable to decide the specification needed for our production floor 
Therefore, we decided to meet up one of the tender to discuss about the details before we can make any decision.

Follow up SSP TNB application for new campus usage.
Sourcing and contact potential contractor for road mapping service.
