         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Question 1:  <br><br>We go to the SOAR and SOCC and use the resources available to create learning targets and plan lessons and assessments for our students.  We need achievement level descriptors for kindergarten science on the SOCC.<br><br>Question 2:  <br><br>We need to establish common assessments that more effectively assess students' background knowledge and that accurately assess our learning targets. <br><br>Question 3:<br><br>We can share resources and encourage grade level collaboration.  We will consult with science expert Cheri Jones to help with our planning and our STEM/PBL activities.<br><br>Question 4:<br><br>In social studies, we are using the Achievement Level Descriptors  to create proficient and distinguished activities and assessments.  In science, we currently do not have ALDs on the SOCC, but we do have other resources.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

We are using the School Net questions to guide instructional vocabulary. For science, we've been using the instructional calendar and tasks available on the SOCC and STEMScopes. Today we were given the ALD's for science and will use them in future planning. In addition, we are using the SOCC assessments and lessons. </div>]]></description>
