         <description><![CDATA[<div>Your goal is to have 6-7 pieces of information for each part of the outline, which is about 25-30 note cards total. You may find that one section has 10 note cards whereas another has only 4. Your topic will determine where you focus your attention. You may not use every note card once you get to the writing stage, but it is always better to have more than less. <br><br>For each section of the outline, you should have no more than two quotes. The research paper should rely much more on paraphrasing than quoting. Quotes should only be used when the author's words are especially powerful or effective. Reference information (like a topic overview or Points of View article) can be paraphrased most of the time.<br><br></div>]]></description>
