No: Culture is too broad. We focus on the simple things. It's a difficult concept even for adults to understand.

Culture is a broad theme that is difficult to explain to young children. Its broadness allows us to make it fit many of the themes, such as beliefs, values, personal and social. However, because it’s so broad we over focus on specific aspects such as food, symbols and so on because they are more tangible for the students. This means we miss out on many of the intangible aspects because of their difficulty for 3 year olds.

This unit covers some of the indicators, such as the natural world, interactions between the natural world. However, it doesn’t cover many of the other indicators, such as scientific principles and the impact of scientific and technological advances on society and environment. How to adjust the unit to fit these is difficult however given the level and age of the students
