The theory of the time of her death does not match any of Jay's stories that place Adnan and Jay together. As well as the burial time: Jay initially told police they buried Hae around midnight, he changed his story to around 7 pm to match the cell phone records.

She sent Adnan letters while he was in jail: saying she saw him at the library after school that day, which contradicted the procedure.
