This piece, with its lively and playful rhythm, resonated with my growing appreciation for jazz influences in piano music. </p><p><strong>Technical and Expressive Challenges:</strong> The piece presented several technical challenges, notably the syncopated rhythms and swing feel, which required meticulous practice to master. Achieving the right hand's jazzy articulation while maintaining a steady bass line in the left hand was particularly demanding. </p><p><strong>Learning Outcomes:</strong> Through the process of learning and performing "Just Struttin’ Along," I experienced notable improvements in my sight-reading skills, as the syncopated rhythms necessitated precise timing and attention to detail. My understanding of music theory, especially jazz harmony and rhythms, deepened as I analyzed and interpreted the piece. </p>]]></description>
