i really like this question because its a great way o think about the world. we are all like family, blood, or not, so seeing someone thats family being treated poorly is hard to see. you want everyone around you to be treated fairly and that impact it has on you would likely face you with the reality of injustice. mitakuye oyašiŋ inspires me to take action because i dont want my family to go through unfair trouble

Growing up, ive seen it many different places such as on posters at the store, on shirts, or in a letter that’s addressing multiple people.

Mitákuye Oyás'iŋ could instruct us to respond to injustice by thinking like what if it was your family/relatives getting mistreated because they are different. For example we see a person getting mistreated and you could think to yourself that what if that was your family, obviously you would want to take action and help them. By thinking this way it could help take action and help define people being mistreated and fight injustice.

This phrase is so short but it means a lot to me because it reminds me of how everyone is family, even if the circumstances aren't the best. We are all connected.

I think that Mitákuye Oyás'iŋ leads us to respond to injustice because it helps us to understand that we are all family even if that isn't biological. Understanding that we are all one, is hard because in today's world there are people who think they are on top of everybody else. We all exist in the same world where we should be fighting along side each other and not against. . I know that when my family/friends/peers are getting treated poorly, it makes me sad, so really the phrase helps me take action because I would want someone to fight for me the way I fight for them.

I liked when I read "you want everyone around you to be treated fairly and that impact it has on you would likely face you with the reality of injustice."
