Padlet creates a great way for teachers to educate students who were absent for class. When I was in middle school and high school it was very difficult to get the information I missed if I was ever sick. Padlet allows for teachers to instantly post assignments, reading, videos, infographics, etc. for students to gain lecture material. Padlet also serves as a great platform for educators to narrow in on specific lecture material or if there is a certain sub-section of material that wasn't covered in class that could be helpful for or beneficial for class. It can also be a great way platform for students to conduct their own research assignments. Students can customize their Padlet pages according to what interests them and then can pair that with conducted research. Padlet allows for an easy way to customize backgrounds, and add personalized pictures or videos, personal to the student.

Rethinking the Roles of Teachers

Teachers need up-to-date research on new learning methods and how they can implicate them in the classroom. I found it very interesting that The Guardian reporting little to no evidence that matching material in the appropriate format to the individual's learning style is effective. Teachers are not switching for solely teacher centered environments to a more student centered atmosphere. More schools are trying to not only implement more technology into the classroom, but also look at how to make classroom learning styles more diverse and gear away from the one size fits all classroom.
