Here are three functions of the muscular system: pumping blood, all types of movement, and breathing. There are two more, but those are just three. In the muscular system there are over six hundred muscles. These are the three kinds of muscles, they are the Cardiac muscle, Skeletal muscle, and the Smooth muscle. An example of a Cardiac muscle is the heart. The intestines are a Smooth muscle. The biceps are a Skeletal muscle. An involuntary muscle is a muscle you can't control. A voluntary muscle is a muscle you can control. One thing I learned from the muscle fatigue activity is that the lactic acid in your body causes muscle fatigue. Another thing I learned was that muscle fatigue sets in after your body can not take challenge anymore. When we did these activity's the lactic acid was making your muscles fatigue.
