Reading through all of these took a decent amount of time and if student interest is low, this would be challenging to get through.<br><br>I noticed that we did not have enough time and wonder how much more successful students would be if we provided them an opportunity to do a close read and annotate these articles before being asked to provide textual evidence to support their answers.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>While it is a performance task, it is a lot of information, even for a couple of class periods.&nbsp;<br><br>We noticed three different sources, with three different structures that can make it confusing for some students; especially if they have never seen a Q&amp;A formatting.&nbsp;<br><br>Adding the time to highlight and put that information in an organized format and in their own words when responding to the actual questions.&nbsp;<br><br>Level of vocabulary is going to play a huge rule, especially for EL students. Most of the students will struggle with a lot of the vocab, especially with the current lack of reading comprehension in most students.&nbsp;<br><br>How would students see this online? Would it be going back and forth from one tab to another or side to side - having the article and question next to one another?&nbsp;<br><br>The program itself might be a struggle, especially for students who struggle with technology.&nbsp;<br><br>Is this format for these assessments the same as other formative assessments? Do students have accommodations and different tools while working on these assessments?&nbsp;<br><br>The articles did not seem very engaging overall. </div>]]></description>
