The entire unit is full of text, extracts from newspapers, articles, and websites which helps the learner to practice in every gender. 
Each unit has different activities such as multiple choice, answering questions, marking different elements on the text, and completing with the missing word or phrase.
Also, almost every unit has 'test tips', follow-up activities, and further practice.
