         <description><![CDATA[<div>- This study focused on the reading rates of high school students and the increase in comprehension scores using Text to Speech Software.<br>- Many students struggle with Learning disabilities struggle with low reading comprehension scores stemming from slow reading rate and poor decoding skills.<br>- This gap in decoding skills manifests most frequently in content vocabulary-specific words leading to the student's lack of comprehension impacting comprehension of coursework-specific vocabulary.<br>-&nbsp;The results of the study proved that the use of Text to Speech Assistive Technology tools increased reading fluency.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Perelmeutter and colleagues focused on various Assistive technology interventions for students 14 and up.<br>- The goal was to determine how these accommodations were experienced by users.<br>- They used both qualitative and quantitative studies to answer the hypothesis.<br>- Unlike the previous two citations this paper looked at a spectrum of Assistive Technology classroom accommodations.<br>- The binding thread to the original paper was the use of Text to Speech reading accommodations.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
