The book was about a character that had lots of friends but later in the book Cece (The character) had to move. But then.... when Cece was singing she choked then her mom and dad rushed her to the hospital. She was very sick, and after Cece had a kid in her room to keep her company. And then Cece noticed that her roommate got ice cream and not her! After a couple of weeks Cece got to go home. And her sister always reads to her every night to put Cece to sleep. But then the next day she found her alone she could not find her mom! She yelled and tried to find her but she did not answer. But Cece s mom was running to Cece and then they found out that Cece could not hear! Cece, her mom, and dad went to the doctor and then they gave her hearing ads and a mic to help hear better. When she is at school though’s help her hear her teachers when she is in school. The main character (Issac) is trying to protect his friend (Joseph) from dieing from the person to killed the general of Choctaw. (the town) When Isaac is seeing his family, Joseph almost dies from the killer, but then Joseph shape shifts into a black panther and runs into the forest trying to find Issac but he was to far away from him and he was lost…. While Issac was sleeping the house was on fire! He ran into his parents bedroom and woke them up and ran out of the house. They were thinking we’re do we sleep? Then They ran into the forest and it was winter time so they were freezing. They found a flat spot and make a camp fire and made a tent. There were other people from there town and they also made a tent to sleep in. A couple of days later the soldiers came… they had blankets though and gave them the blankets but Issac and his family didn’t get the blankets because Issacs mom knew something, the blankets would give them sores and pain. The next day they were walking to get food and Issac found a faster way to get food over the frozen river. But then Issac fell in the river he was bleeding so much that he couldn’t get up, everything was spinning. He got up but he got up and kept walking with a blood trail behind him and got food. A week later he meet a friend Joseph he was a shapeshifter and when they were getting food one day….. a wolf attacked Issac and bit his neck with its sharp fangs and then Joseph ran to Issac and was really sad Issac had died.
