I'm in two minds about this. The first one is that it's important and useful. National and international company use English as a way of communication for all official and legal things. English is the most commonly used language in the world and it's also one of the most important skills for them who wants to work in national or either international company. The other one is it's better to learn other languages too because it's better to communicate with their native language and they'll understand us more.

yeah, im with you in this one, i also in two minds about it, because if we using their native language (according to its company location ofc) we can freely expressing our emotion, our argument and they can catch that without having miscommunication (there may be some, but not as high risked as using english) and we don't have to worry if they don't fully understand us --- wangi :)

I just read your comment now and I must say this enlighten me. But I may also add that when should we use the native language and when do we use the English language because the statement said it's for an international company so the co-workers and the clients can be from different nations and learning each native language may take a long time despite still doing a job which means every time values. Overall great comment and I totally get what you mean :)
