         <description><![CDATA[<p>The biggest take away that I was able to see was that self-care is a part of our Ethics. This means that making sure that we are of sound mind and body is crucial for us to do this work. By prioritizing self-care, we are better able to support the people that we serve. </p>]]></description>

As we provide insight into the things that others are going through, we must be aware that those things have an impact on the way we function. Creating space and time to process these situations helps us better serve others in a helpful and purposeful way. By not allowing this to become a habit, we will no longer be effective in our work.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Two strategies I plan to utilize more often are boundaries as well as intentional focus. </p><p><br/></p><p>Boundaries will look like making sure that my internal and external no match. This will allow me to limit the things that I do, even if there are good things so that I can show up well for others. </p><p><br/></p><p>The intentional focus that I will use is practicing "Switching Off" and "Switching On". This will help signal to me that I have done the very best that I can today and tomorrow is a new day. Recognizing that this work is only one aspect of who I am helps create space for me to fill my internal well properly. </p>]]></description>
