It is believed that every nations should produce food independently. While i accept the reasons for this proposal, i would argue that it is not practical in many parts of the world.

On the one hand, there are good grounds for advocating the policy of countries should reduce their dependence on importing food. Firstly, depending on foods import might pose a risk to some countries, especially during global crisis. For example, Vietnam, they are not mostly affected from the COVID-19 epidemic, when every food delivery are banned, due to their massive agricultural products. Secondly, food manufacturing industry will be expanded. Therefore, it increases the employment opportunities, curbing unemployment. For example, Vietnam, where there are lots of agricultural developments, creating thousands jobs for local residents a year.

Notwithstanding the aforementioned arguments, i am convinced that depending on national food production is impractical in some countries, where geographic and climatic conditions are simply not suitable for agricultural practices or wars. For instance, South Sudan in Africa, can not independently produce foods because of its prolonged droughts, making self-sufficiency in food production hardly attainable goal. In addition, this country occurred many terrorism, which to take over foods and lands. For these countries, minimizing foods imports could be actually be tantamount to causing national food shortages.

In conclusion, while there are justification for supporting the proposal of food self-reliance, i am of the opinion that it is not a feasible option for all countries.

One of them is minimize the impact on food supply when the country they accompanied with witnessing a food crisis. For instance, during the Covid-19 pandemic, While Most countries are facing with food shortage leading to several strikes occur, Vietnam rise as an food independence country. As a result, both of their economic growth and food to meet their own residence demand weren't affected positively

Some people believe that nations should produce foods for their residents and reduce the amount of food importion. Although this viewpoints has its merits, I believe that this is not entirely beneficial.

One the one hand, there are good grounds for advocating the policy of food indepentdence. Firstly, local food production will enhance a quality of food, which suitable for that country's food market. For example, Vietnamese scientists research and produce many different types of a crop to suit each region. In addition, local food production will promote sustainable agricultural practices according to a nation's regional climates ,which will preserve local biodiversity.

Nowithstanding the aforementioned arguments, l'm concinced that importing food is vital to provide veriety of food items.

Some people believe that countries should generate their own food for their citizens and reduce the amount of food imported. While acknowledge the reasons for this proposal, I would argue that it is not practical in many part of the world.

On the one hand, there are good grounds for advocating the policy of food independence. Increasing job chances for people is one of them. Due to the rising global need for food, countries that produce their own food will be able to lower unemployment rates and help citizens in finding employment. Secondly, when food is produced independently, it will be easier to control the quality of the food that is processed. For example, many food production facilities, such as factories and farms, can keep an eye on crop varieties and their development in addition to researching new foods that have higher nutritional values, better quality, and more affordable prices.
