I used to think that we can just enter the temple just like that but now I know that we need to wash our feet before entering as a symbol to clean our selves, our mind and our speech. Thank you Sharm and Janice!

I used to think Little India is so crowded and now I think there are good timing to visit amd i would love to come back to continue to enjoy the rich culture and even shop here.😁

I used to think that there wouldn’t be too much difference eating with hands and I would have difficulty with it.. but now I think it’s not difficult and has more flavor!

The various sites chosen were well thought out and showcased the meaning clearly. Explanations were clear and interesting too.

Thanks Sharm, Janice and team for planning and executing it! It felt like a very interactive tour.

I used to think that I can just walk into the Hindu temple, now I know u have to wash your feet before entering the temple as a form of cleansing practice….

I used to think that knowing about culture is as good as just going to the place itself, but now i think to understand ones culture is to also understand their way of life- how they eat, pray, talk to another.

I am very familiar with Little India, or so I thought. I used to think the puttu was a religious symbol. Now, I know that it is just to differentiate the unmarried and married ladies.

It was also my first time visiting a temple. I am pleasantly surprised on how they begin their prayer session with the washing of their feet before stepping into the prayer hall.

I used to think that many of my group mates were very serious people now i think that given the right conditions under thoughtful, purposeful planning and a vibrant environment, my groupmates showed many sides to themselves. The rv bonded really well!

I used to think the Hindu temple is a place only for hindu now I learn that the religion embraces people of other religion. It has some similarities between Buddhism as well.
