The video can be found in youtube, a simple yet interesting and understandable around 5 minutes duration or less. If possible, a real process in industry, not a video of theory or illustration. I suggest to do this during "take 5 minutes break" during the class.

 In my opinion, instead of playing games and quizzes at Kahoot, etc that use internet sources (in case someone unable to connect to the internet), I suggest that we use mah-jong paper and marker pen to create a summary mind map about what we have learnt during the lecture slot. I think this activity will take about 30 minutes to be done. Everyone must participate but not every group need to present their work. We make a lucky draw and that 2 or 3 of the “lucky” groups (6 to 8 people in one group) will do the presentation and prepare few questions to everyone while the rest prepare themselves to answer the questions. And of course, gifts will make the activity more interesting! :). The purposes of this activity are (1) to ensure everyone focus during lecture slot and during the presentation, and (2) to test the ability of students doing multiple tasks in short given time. The items needed for this activity are (1) mah-jong paper, (2) marker pen, and (3) sole tape (to attach the paper on whiteboard).

During the class, we organize a lucky draw session for the questions to be answered and persons selected to answer. Give a limitation the the number of answers, like 2 answers for each question.
For those who are unable to answer the question, maybe we can give them a funny or joking punishment such as dancing, singing, make joke or whatever. 
Through this, maybe we can directly do the revision along with the fun of learning it.

  • Observational Learning is learning by watching others engage in different behaviors. From the examples above, you probably have learned to dance by watching your teacher demonstrate some dance steps to you. You also probably have learned how to write by watching your mother demonstrate hand strokes for various letters and numbers.

Hi Prof. Pang,

In my humble opinion, I suggest that at the end of the class, one or two videos regarding the industrial are showed to gain a better understanding on what we've learnt. Besides, having some tutorial questions at the end of the learning unit can help us to catch up all the learning units being thought. Next, is by having two way interaction between lecture and students. After all, I did enjoy and learn something new in this course
