Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once.

 68% of teens agree that cyber bullying is a serious problem.

Only 1 in 10 victims will inform a parent or trusted adult of their abuse.

81% of young people think bullying online is easier to get away with than bullying in person.

Be aware of the different websides you are using, it can be a big issue if it's not a trusted webside. Then everybody can see your information and private life , and may comment bad things about it.

You have to think before you post. The internet isn't a private place and everything you post can't be taken back. There is no confrontation, you can´t see the person you hurt, and it doesn´t seem like that big of an issue. However for the person getting the mean text and death threats it´s their whole world falling apart. The offender might also start bullying the victim in school and other places since nothing happend the first time.
