ADAB IN SEEKING KNOWLEDGE 🤍

So far what i learnt is there is a thing that we must follow before we start to learn something.

1.TAJDID NIAT

first of all what we must look at is our "niat" or "intention".The reason we study and learn is for what .Is that just to follow the flow that our parents put us or just to get good results ? Is that it ? So must think throughly the real reason for it.We must put our "niat" to learn is for allah.Thats because allah is our creator and all the knowledge come from him.So, everything that we do we must do for the sake of allah.if we do that all the things that we learn will be remembered easily and and we can use it on our daily life as well as make our life better.

2.RESPECT BOOK

Books is the thing we use to study. From books also we get to gain more knowledge. So, books is very valuable and we need to cherish it very carefully. We can't put the book on the floor. After we done reading we must put it back in the right place like book shelf. We must take a good care of all the books because it will show that we really value the knowledge and make us the better person

3.RESPECT OUR TEACHER

we must respect our teacher or lecturer or anyone that teach us something.Thats because they are the one that give us knowledge.Without them we will never know ABC.They are the one that teach us from A to Z.They are the kne that make us succes. So we must put all our respect to them.we must not talk when they are teaching.Instead of we must be focus and thanks them for all the things that they did for us all this time.

3.SOURCE OF OUR LIFE

we must always remember that all the thinks that we do must be follow through al -Quran and As-Sunnah.As a muslim it is our priority. If we not follow the source that allah ask,we will love in error and "shirik".

In week 3,we learn about some pillars of iman.there are 6 of it but we only discuss about 3 pillars which is belief in allah, belief in angels (malaikat) and belief in kitab.

first, lets talk about 1 pillars :

BELIEF IN ALLAH

belief in allah is belief in our one and only god which is Allah. He is the only god that we need to trust and belief in this world. The reason we need to belief in allah is because no one can replace him.there is no equal for him.like in surah al-ikhlas :

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allah, (the) One.

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ

"Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).

لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ

"He begets not, nor was He begotten;

وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ

"And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

How to show our believed in Allah ?

True belief in Allah can be gained by reading the Quran and praying regularly. Improving our recitation and our salah is the next step to gaining closeness to Allah, our Lord and sustainer

BELIEF IN ANGELS (MALAIKAT)

Believing in Angels is to believe that they exist. Angels are made out of light and are mostly invisible to humans (unless Allah chooses to reveal them). They do not possess free will like Jinn and humans. They are varying in size and are neither male or female. There are billions of them and they are assigned different jobs. The prophet told us the names of certain angels. We know for example that Jibrail is the angel who brought down the Quran from Allah. We need to believe in malaikat because it is Allah demand for us as a muslim.

How we beliefs in malaikat ?

we belief in malaikat with always remember that allah have give order tu some malaikat to write our sin. So,we need to be careful with anything we were doing now and the future and always do good deeds for our sake to enter the jannah.

BELIEF IN "KITAB"

Allah has revealed books across thousands of years to guide humanity. These books offer wisdom, guidance, self reflection and are amongst the most popular and most read books of all time. The list of books are as follows:

Quran: revealed to Prophet Muhammad

Injil: otherwise known as the bible. This was revealed to Prophet Isa (as)

Tawrah: otherwise known as the torah. This was revealed to Prophet Musa (as)

Zabur: this was revealed to Prophet Dawud (as)

We need to believe in al-quran because Al-Quran is the only book that has not been changed from when it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad over 1400 years ago.

How we beliefs in

Muslim means to believe that the Quran is the word of God because it was from allah .

How we beliefs in al -Quran ?

read and recite the Al -quran every day after salah to get "redha" from Allah S.W.T

BELIEF IN PROPHET'S,HEREAFTER,QADA' QADAR

For this week,we learn about other pillars of iman which is belief in prophet's,hereafter and qada' and qadar.

BELIEF IN PROPHET'S

Muslims should believe in all prophet's sent by Allah (SWT) as same as they believe in the last messenger and prophet Muhammad. The prophets are the humans that Allah (SWT) chose to guide the people towards believing in Him and abiding by His commands. Most of the prophets of Allah were sent to a specific nation except Prophet Muhammad, who was sent to guide all of mankind.

BELIEF IN HEREAFTER

One of the most important pillars of Iman is to believe in the Day of Judgment and Hereafter.“The Day of Judgment”, “The Last Judgment”, or “The Resurrection Day” is the day when humans will be resurrected from their graves and will be given their book of deeds to be judged by Allah (SWT). According to this judgment, they were either sent to Paradise or Hell.Every Muslim should believe in the Afterlife and understand that this life is not the end. It is just a stage when we should obey Allah (SWT) to get the reward in the Afterlife. Otherwise, we’ll get the ultimate punishment. So,we need to belief in allah to get to enter the jannah in the afterlife.

BELIEF IN QADA' QADAR

The last of the pillars of Iman (faith) is to believe in the qada' and qadar Allah.(Qadhaa’) is the general decree of Allah (SWT) that every human shall die, whereas as (Qadr) is a particular decree of Allah Almighty or the execution of Qadhaa’, that a certain person is to die at a particular time and place. So every Muslim should believe that everything that happens, good or bad, happens only according to Allah’s (SWT) Divine Decree. We need to accept everything that Allah have attempts for us even if it have to break our heart.Thats because sometimes what we plan is something that's have no good for us ,but what allah plans had always been the best and good for us.As a saying goes "Allah know what we don't know"

WEEK 4

The Virtues of Solat with Khusyu' (Devotion and Humility)

Solat (prayer) is the pillar of Islam and a direct connection between a servant and Allah. However, performing solat with khusyu'—a state of deep devotion, humility, and concentration—elevates its significance and rewards. Here are some virtues of praying with khusyu':

1. Attaining Tranquility and Inner Peace

A heart that is present in solat finds peace. Allah says in the Quran:
"Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." (Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:28)
When one prays with sincerity and focus, worries of the world fade, bringing spiritual and emotional calmness.

2. Gaining Allah’s Mercy and Forgiveness

Solat with khusyu' is a means to attain Allah’s forgiveness. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
"Whoever performs wudu' excellently, then prays two rak’ahs with full presence of heart, will have his past sins forgiven." (Bukhari & Muslim)
This shows that true devotion in prayer leads to purification of the soul.

3. Preventing Sins and Strengthening Faith

Allah mentions in the Quran:
"Indeed, prayer prevents immorality and wrongdoing." (Surah Al-Ankabut 29:45)
When solat is performed with khusyu', it strengthens one's connection with Allah, making it easier to resist sinful temptations and remain steadfast in faith.

4. Earning Higher Rewards in the Hereafter

The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"The first thing a servant will be called to account for on the Day of Judgment is his prayer. If it is good, the rest of his deeds will be good; and if it is bad, the rest of his deeds will be bad." (Tirmidhi)
A prayer performed with khusyu' is more valuable in the sight of Allah, increasing one’s rewards in the hereafter.

5. Developing Patience and Humility

Khusyu' in solat teaches a person patience and humility, as it requires submission to Allah with a sincere heart. The more one practices focused and mindful prayer, the more one becomes humble in daily life.

6. Bringing Barakah (Blessings) in Life

Praying with khusyu' brings barakah in time, wealth, and personal affairs. It aligns a person’s heart with divine guidance, leading to a more fulfilling and blessed life.

Conclusion

Solat with khusyu' is not just about physical movements but about connecting deeply with Allah. It transforms a person spiritually, morally, and emotionally. By striving for khusyu' in every prayer, one attains closeness to Allah, a purified soul, and success in both this world and the hereafter.

WEEK 3

PREPARATION FOR SOLAH WITH KHUSYU'

Preparation for Salah (prayer) with Khushu' (humility and concentration) is an essential part of worship in Islam. Khushu' refers to a state of deep focus and humility, which allows one to be fully present in the act of worship, disconnecting from worldly distractions. Here's how you can prepare for Salah with khushu':

1. Mental and Physical Purity: Start by performing wudu (ablution), ensuring you are physically clean. This physical cleanliness symbolizes spiritual readiness. Be sure to dress in clean, modest clothing as well.

2. Intention (Niyyah): Make a sincere intention in your heart that you are performing Salah solely for the sake of Allah. This helps you focus on the prayer with a pure mindset.

3. Creating a Quiet Environment: Try to pray in a quiet and peaceful place, free from distractions like loud noises, phones, or conversations. This helps you concentrate better during the prayer.

4. Reflect on the Meaning: Before starting your prayer, it can be beneficial to reflect on the meanings of the words and phrases you'll say in Salah. Understanding the translation of the Quranic verses you recite during prayer can help foster deeper concentration and humility.

5. Adab (Proper Etiquette): Approach your prayer with reverence. When standing for prayer, adopt a humble posture, lowering your gaze, and directing your attention solely to Allah. Avoid looking around, as this can break your focus.

6. Focus on the Actions: During Salah, pay attention to the movements—whether it's the bowing (ruku'), the prostration (sujood), or the sitting position. Each movement is an opportunity to humble yourself before Allah.

7. Seek Refuge from Distractions: If your mind wanders during prayer, gently bring your focus back to the act of worship. You can do this by reminding yourself of the importance of the prayer and the connection you have with Allah during it.

8. Sincerity and Devotion: Perform the Salah with full sincerity, remembering that it’s an intimate moment between you and Allah. Avoid rushing through the prayer, and try to immerse yourself fully in the experience, paying attention to each word and movement.

Incorporating these steps into your Salah can help you pray with khushu', making your worship more meaningful and spiritually enriching.
