Almost all of the streets in Columbia are equipped with surveillance cameras. This lovely one is on Five Points - a famous shopping and nightlife neighborhood in Columbia. It is painted with very attractive colors : an almost peace of art!

This is where the popular tailgate parties occur. We can see them in front of the Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. Very early in the day before the game starts, lots of people gather there to celebrate and have fun with barbecues and alcoholic beverages

These are the USC President's wife gardens.
Many plants grow there, probably vegetables. What's cool is that the President's wife teaches a cooking class and she wrote a cook book. It gives a good environmentally friendly dynamics in the campus. And apparently, that's where Stacey got inspired for the jardin Pontanique !

This is the front of the Thomas Cooper Library in USC. There is a huge fountain and and benches all around where students are invited to rest after a long day of work. There is also a park with nice grass and hammocks.

At the basketball Game. It was such a cool night for us. It was "just" a university league game and "just" a girl's game as we may have heard ( Women basketball is not as taken seriously as men's basketball even if they have a better rank!!!!) But anyway, it was lit! The arena was crowded and the cheerleaders show was amazing !

At the ancestral oak tree on the road to Charleston, also called the Angel oak. It was probably one the most impressive tree ever. It had so many branchings and is approximately 1500 years !! But as you can see on the picture, to protect the very old tree a lot of things are prohibited !

The picture was taken in Charleston also called the Palmetto City. It was one of the most critical cities across the USA's History : The Colonial Era, Slavery, the Civil War... Before Columbia, it was the capital city of South Carolina thanks to importance of its harbor. We can see engravings of the city's evolution.

Everybody in the US wears sports clothes! It really stroke us when we arrived there. Most of the people we talked to were involved in some sport and even academically speaking, Sport Culture is really important. For example football players are taken care of very well. Besides, sports equipments are enormous !

This picture was taken in the Congaree Swamp. We had a wonderful walk among the intriguing and enormous trees. Fun fact the ranger told us: Thanks the methane released by the animals farts, the sun rays are deflected and wonderful rainbows appear on the water .

Par le pont des arts, il y a un endroit pour pratiquer du sport. On peut courir par la Seine ou comme les personnes sur le photo vous pouvez faire de la boxe.

Le Tour Eiffel. Surtout célèbre dans le monde. C'est magnifique à nuit quand il est lumineux. C'est plus grand en personne que des photos.
