First way the kidneys maintain homeostasis is regulating extracellular fluid volme. They ensure a water quanity of plasma to keep blood flowing. The second way is regulating osmolarity, that keeps the extracellularfluid from becoming concentrated to the solutes carried in the fluid. Third way is the production of the hormones, the kidneys are involved by regulating the plasma calium and glucose level. Fourth way is the regulation oh pH, the kidneys prevent blood plasma from becoming basic by regulating ions. The last way kidneys maintain homeostasis is extraction of waste and toxins, they filter out any variety of water waste and enviromental waste into the urine.

Part 2 - Diseases caused from kidneys 

Disease 1: Alport Syndrome is a genetic condition caused from kidneys, it involves hearing loss and eye abnormalitlies.Almost all peopleare affected have blood in their urine which indicated abnormal functioniong of the kidneys. No there is not a cure currently for this condition. Disease 2 is known as Bergers disease, its a kidney disease that occurs when IgA deposits build up in the kidneys causing inflamingation that dmages kidney tissues. It affects the kidneys by attacking the glomeruli. They also have not found a cure for this. Disease 3 is Renal Cell Cancer in which the cancer forms in the tubules of the kidneys. The tiny tubules in the kidney clear the body, the cancer starts in the part where the kidneys collect and drins the urine to the uteres. Disease 4 is minimal change disese, that can lead to nephrotic syndrome. This disease damages the glomeruli, and is most common in children. The cureness for children is to be on steroids. Disease 5 is Hypercalcemia is something when you have too much calcium in your blood. The treatment for this is surgery if not recovery on its own.
