I think it’s true for some reason, especially from what happened today. I was having classes with a longer list of assignments to get them done. Other than that, nothing interesting happened. The day ran slowly until someone told me that the result for semester 2 will be announced today. My heart started pounding at faster beats and while having a chemistry class at that time, I couldn’t concentrate at all. The result would not be so meaningful to some people but to me, it is really important to maintain my scholarship from getting cut off. Madam Hasimah knows best what the students in her class feel at that moment so she generously allowed us to go check our results in between the class. I don’t want to put this in a too exciting way but it was way better than I thought it would be. 3.98 GPA. I was so happy and grateful even though my heart was still pounding fast. After the class ended, I called my mother and told her about my achievement. She said she was proud and would be prouder if I could do better next time with a perfect 4.00 and promised me a celebratory dinner. Today was a good day.
