THE JUNGLE
in this article, violation of workers' rights of working safe conditions and violation of consumers' rights are discussed. I'm asked to read the chapters of the Jungle because this chapters show that those workers were behaved unethically and Author wanted to point that even though this is a book, it shows the real fact of workers had been through in those years
Cheap Milk and Supermarket Ethics
Walker thinks that companies behave unethically to their workers and consumers, but boycotting is not the way to act if we are conserned because sometimes subcontractor companies cause this state of affairs. Therefore, there is not a better way but becoming activist in order to do something.
1) Goal of business ethics is being aware of workers and consumers' rights and behave them equally and ethically.
Corporations have social reponsiblities because they work for and with people. Therefore, they have responsibilities for those who work for them and prefer them and their products.
2)

THE JUNGLE
After Industrial Revolution, workers worked in unsafe and difficult conditions plus they work for şow salaries with have fewer rights.Author of the Jungle whose name is Sinclair want to focus on these subjects.I'm asked to read the chapters of the Jungle because of the fact that in this book Sinclair shows us to working condition in those years like workers got injured, they work under unsafe conditions, they have too many cuts on their hand, they may have blood etc.. but the government couldn't understand the point of the author that's why it is really interesting.

Why Business Ethics?

1.In this article, according to managers there are three different point of view about the business ethical. The main question which they are focus on is "Is it necessary or not?"But the goal of the business ethics is to know and respect the consumers and producers rights'.Hooker believes that studying ethics will help professionals in many way.Ethics helps people to make better and quicker decisions as they have studied ethical dilemma cases. In the above mentioned texts are the purposes of the business ethics.Money is the most important issue to influence the decision-making process in business.
2.Author whose name is Hooker refers to Friedman's article because according to Friedman business executives sole responsability is to make legal profit and they do not have to think about social problems when they are doing thier jobs.He state that business people do not know how to deal with complicated social problems.
3.If I were a business owner,I encourage my managers to study business ethics but first goal must be to make money as Friedman's argument they haven't educate for that at the business school and these people have clear job description, have mains job ,responsability is to use bosses money and maximize the profit. They can't use my firm's money without my permission.
