CUSTOMER SERVICE

Customer service is becoming very important in the marketing of products and services. It can take many forms:

Giving customers help and advice on different product or services with friendly well-trained staff.

Having help available through internet or phone.

Offering free delivery on large items with a guaranteed delivery date.

Taking items back without any argument if at all faulty.

As businesses are seeing the value of keeping their customers happy, they are investing large sums of money into systems that will keep customers returning to buy more products.

Customer services in shops will deal with items that are being returned, often taking goods back which by law they have no need to do.

The belief is that customers will feel that the shop has treated them very well in a difficult situation and will return to spend more money in the future.

Some businesses have opened call centres in order to answer customer questions and make “courtesy calls” to make sure that customers are receiving good service.

Good customer service may be the reason why people return to certain businesses, in the knowledge that if something does go wrong, then they will be treated well.

Some businesses have developed a good reputation based on well-developed customer service. John Lewis has a policy where all the items in their shops are guaranteed not to have a higher price than other businesses. This “never knowingly undersold” policy has helped the business gain their reputation for good customer service.

Customer Service is a service where stuff trying their best to make sure that the customer is happy and satisfied. Different customers services providing different help. For example, in the shop, people use customer service for return item, sometimes to know more information not only about item (material, country where it been made, is it not dangerous for child, etc.) but also if they need contact information, etc. I's very important not only for businesses but and for customer service keep their customers happy because lots of people share their experience not only with friend but with other people on the websites and social network such as Facebook and Twitter. If they had bad experience, thousands of people will know about this and it will drop your reputation down.

                                                    Maryna
