First they create a situation for the audience which shows how people with Dyslexia see things. I thought that this was a really great way to gain a deeper understanding of hat Dyslexia is like. Then, they talk about how the brain works with Dyslexia, like many of the other videos. They also incorporate a lot of different statistics about dyslexia in the video.

They look at a variety of ages of children in this video which helps create a clearer picture of the impact of dyslexia on children's lives and capability to learn.

One of the key takeaways was how not everyone experiences dyslexia the same way.

This video is done by some celebrities with dyslexia. They talk about what being dyslexic meant to them when they were young and answer some questions about dyslexia. I think it was super interesting to take it from the perspective of celebrities because it shows just how impactful this can be, and how it can affect anyone. I also think it's important to point out that even with dyslexia, they were able to follow their dreams and be successful, which supports the idea that Dyslexia isn't bad, it's just a different way of thinking.

This video is an interview of a mother with three children. She talks about how only after her children had essentially grown up did she hear about dyslexia. As a mother, when she would try and read with her daughters she found that they were struggling and it turned out that they were all dyslexic. She also included the fact that today they are doing great things, and were able to overcome this and use it to their advantage. Furthermore she says her husband was also dyslexic. This was mentioned in some of the other videos as well but it was interesting to find out that it ran in families. The purpose of this video was for this mother to spread awareness about Dyslexia to those who did not know much about it, as well as share her experience surrounding Dyslexia.

After completing this project, I think I cleared up some of the misconceptions surrounding Dyslexia. First off, it is generally assumed that this doesn't affect many people, but that is simply not true. I learned that Dyslexia impacts about 1 and 5 people, and that it is likely to run in families. It is also generally assumed that when someone has Dyslexia, there is something wrong with the way their brain functions, but that is not the case either. People who have Dyslexia just have brains that work differently, not worse than other people's. Something that I found interesting was that Dyslexia impacts everyone differently, and that people can display different symptoms of Dyslexia. I chose this topic because reading is something I really enjoy, and I wanted to learn about people who find it more difficult and what their experience is like.
