I am a Criminal Justice major within the forensic concentration. Ever since I discovered YouTube, it's been Buzzfeed Unsolved all the way. I would watch a lot of the true crime ones and ever since it has peaked my interest. Of course the usual Netflix true crime docs as well. I hope to become a crime scene investigator one day.

I love video games, like seriously they have nearly taken over my life. Some of my favorites include the Resident Evil franchise, Fortnite (judge me if you want, I NEEDED the Peter Griffin skin) and of course a million others. Another interest I have is watching football (NFL), kind of straight-forward, I'm just really passionate about my team lol.

Something I'd like my peers to know is that I'm very secluded to myself, independent and very shy but once I get comfortable, I swear I'm an entirely different being lol.

I am majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Cybersecurity. In high school, I discovered my love for the concept of Cybersecurity and coding fun projects, so I have chosen to pursue it! 

My interests and hobbies include crocheting bags, drawing, and creatively writing stories. As you can probably tell, I love to be in touch with my creative side! Recently, I crocheted a light blue cinta bag with black ribbons so that I could use it as I start this new chapter in my life.

I would like my peers and professor to know that I am excited to start this new semester of college and continue pursuing my goals. I am also excited to meet even more new people here at Stanislaus State!

Two Truths & a Wish: I have met a giraffe in real life, I have watched Minions: The Rise of Gru in theaters twice, and I have eaten at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

In my heart I know the happiness I get from helping children and other people, therefore I want to pursue this career to have a positive impact in people's lives and health. Some interests and hobbies I have are doing my nails, listening to music, and helping the people of my community.

I am a caring person know that if you need a safe person to speak to you about academic, or personal issues just ask. I am not shy at all and I would love to get to know all of you this semester!

Two Truths & a Wish : I have been to Germany and it was a humbling experience. Seeing the concentration camps gave me insight into why my career means so much to me. Another truth would be that I have been through many tough situations in life so if you as my peer ever needed a reliable empathetic person to speak to I'll be here! Wish : A wish of mine of course would be to complete Nursing school and get my NP, to help my communities.

I am changing my major to Liberal Studies. During my first semester I was a Business Major, but decided to make a change after working at an elementary school in my town. I started subbing in for SPED student paraprofessional educators and realized that I love being in the classroom, helping out in any way I could. I now work as an AVID tutor and an after school program leader for elementary students. Because of this, I found that I love being in an environment in which kids can learn and grow, as well as helping them with homework and coming up with fun crafts and activities they can do.

I absolutely love playing instruments and making music. If I could make it a career, I would. My dream career would be either performing music or producing music. Right now, I enjoy learning to play my favorite songs on the guitar, with the easiest tabs I can find online, and to make up my own songs. Throughout middle school and high school I learned to play the violin, clarinet, and marimba. I have also self taught the ukulele, guitar, and bass guitar. Fun fact: I can go on and on talking about my favorite artists and songs, and I listen to different genres. Another interest I have is making jewelry, although its not something I do as often as playing and listening to music. I enjoy making jewelry for others based off of their style and personality. The most recent thing I have made is a charm necklace, with charms I can switch around for myself.

Something I would like my peers to know is that I am very approachable. Although I may seem shy at first, I am very outgoing and the opposite of quiet once you get to know me.

Im currently undeclared but the major I'm intending to go for is Nursing. My reason for this is because my mom was sick when I was younger and I looked up to the nurses who helped her recover and took care of her. Ever since, I want to be like the nurses who put my mind at ease while someone I cared deeply about was in a vulnerable position.

My two main hobbies are reading and cooking. Usually if I have anytime when I'm working, at school, or doing homework I'll read. Otherwise, I just like learning family recipes from my mom and making them in just for the fun of it or because I'm craving something like Pozole during the colder seasons.

A thing to know about me is that while I do possibly look mean (I have a RBF), I'm nice and will speak if spoken to.

Truths: The age gap between me and my older sister is 13 years and I went to the casino on my 18th birthday with my family (kind of boring but I enjoyed the time with my family).

Wish: As a wish, I'd hope to get into the Nursing program and get my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).

My major is business and I chose it because I think there’s a lot of jobs that I can go about with a business degree. I am also interested in the medical field, so a Business degree can help me, for example, become a manager in a doctor’s office.

One of my hobbies is going to the gym. I love exercising and running because it’s enjoyable and stress relieving. I also enjoy finding healthy recipes to make to take for school or work. Another hobby is listening to music; I have a playlist for every mood. I love going to concerts, although I don’t always get the opportunity to. In addition, I love playing volleyball. I played it in high school competitively.

Something I would like to my professor/ peers to know is I’m excited to start this semester and talk to people.

Two truths & a wish: I have a dog and a cat, I have been to Mexico 3 times, and I have gone to the World Cup.

I am double majoring in psychology and theater arts. I chose these majors because I have a personal connection to therapy. I have joined theatre art activities on campus, and I found them to be extremely amusing.  

I enjoy reading poetry and listening to music i.e., R&B, Jazz. On my free time I like to visit art museums and go to concerts.

I am a Liberal Studies major with a concentration in Early Childhood Development. I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher ever since little I had a giant whiteboard/chalkboard where I would give a "lesson" to my little brother. I hope to someday help students out in their learning path and be their safe spot.

One of my hobbies is going to my uncle's farm to feed his animals and go horseback riding. I also enjoy baking for my family I have recently been looking at new recipes from a famous Mexican baker.

I’m currently a public health major hoping to transition into nursing. I chose nursing because I want to be able to help people and I would love to work with kids but I would also love to help women bring life into this world. I debating right now between a midwives nurse or a pediatric nurse but I would like to take on travel nurse in the furutre.

One of my hobbies that I like to do is to journaling. I like writing about trips or fun memories I experienced. I also love to travel, I hope to go to South Korea and Italy when I’m older.

I am currently majoring as a Pre-Nursing student here at Stan State. The reason why I chose to go into this field was because of my mother who is a nurse herself. Being able to see how she works hard in her career and loves caring for the elderly has inspired me to work just as hard to help others as well.

A hobby that I really enjoy is playing online games with my friends because it allows me to spend more time being social and learning new things about technology everyday. Another hobby that I love to do is listening to music. Being able to listen to a varitey of music allows me to clean around my house more at ease.

Two Truths & a Wish: I have been on a cruise to the Bahamas with my family before, I have participated in a water lantern event, and I wish that I will be able to gain more opportunities in the future to travel around the world.

I'm majoring in Computer Science. If I'm being honest, I don't really have a specific reason I chose it, I kind of just chose it on a whim, and I found it interesting. It just felt like something I wanted to do.

In my free time I like to listen to and learn about music, exercise, and although I don't have much time for it anymore, play video games.

I usually keep to myself but I do enjoy talking to new people.

I am currently majoring in Biology but will soon be changing my major that will lead me towards the nursing field. With that said I am hoping to become a Registered Nurse since I came to the realization that I am an empathetic person and being in places were healthcare occurs takes compassion and empathy.

I am majoring in liberal studies! I am not sure in what path I want to take with my degree, but I sure know that I want to be able to work and help kids that have special needs. I'm Majoring in Criminal Justice with the goal of one day becoming an FBI Agent. I pursuit this career because since I was little, I have always been interested in law enforcement.

Some of my interest and hobbies are Watching soccer or playing it, I have always been a big soccer fan and during my free time am always watching soccer. I also like to spend time with my family. I believe spending time with family is something really important.

I would like my peers to know that although I don't seem friendly or may have a face like a bulldog, I am very kind and easy to connect with. I try my best to be understanding and patient at the same time. Also if we find ourselves to have the same interests then it just makes it all the more easier to connect.

Two Truths and a Lie: I have never broken a bone, I can play both the guitar and the piano, and lastly I can hold my breath underwater for about a minute and 30 seconds.

I am currently a biology major but plan on pursuing a career in the medical field. To specify I would like to become a NICU nurse since I am really interested and would love to help newborn babies.

In my free time I love to spend time with my best friend, we usually go out to eat or shop but even if we just stay home we always have a good time together. I also really love dancing since I think it is such a fun way to relax and express yourself.

I am currently majoring is sociology. I chose to major is sociology because I would like to be a social worker for foster kids. I'm still not completely certain if this will stay my major but as of right now, that is what i'm majoring in.

On my free time I like to paint, i'm not very good at it, but it's something I do enjoy. Another thing I enjoy doing is cleaning, I love to deep clean my room whenever I get the chance to do so.

My current major is biological sciences but I am currently trying to get my pre requisites done to apply to the nursing program here at stanislaus and major in nursing. I have always been interested in the medical field and a dream of mine is to become an RN and specialize in pediatrics or I would love to become an aesthetic nurse.

Some of my hobbies include listening to music, I listen to any type of music but mainly music in Spanish . I also love spending time with my best friend anytime we are together we always have a good time and we enjoy each other’s company. One thing that we love to do is dancing. I'm a psychology major with a minor in criminal justice. When I first got to stan state I was an ethnic studies major but I decided it wasn't for me after the first few weeks. I changed to psychology after talking to someone who had taken an Intro to Psychology class, they made it sound really interesting, I decided to minor in criminal justice because I want to become a criminal psychologist and this minor would make reaching that goal easier.

Some things I enjoy are baking and going to the beach, I live less than five minutes away from the beach so I would walk over and spend the day playing volleyball and surfing in the ocean.
