A small fact about me is that I enjoy tracking little things in daily life.

Here’s a screenshot of my sleep data from a tracking app. It shows how I slept on a particular day, and I find it fun to see my routine turned into numbers.

TikTok uses this data to recommend videos on my For You Page, suggest new friends, show me ads that match my interests, and improve how the app works for users.

Hi, I'm Minh Anh, a PR student.

This is how much I'm on my phone during one crazy busy day. My job requires constant communication, so on a busy Monday, I used Zalo the most for work calls, messaging my team, and sending files. It's essential for getting things done.

It use the data to track the consumer's interest on anything related to sport, also track which fixtures, players have the attract the most.

It is also used to suggest potential new friends or accounts I may want to follow, and to deliver targeted advertisements that are more relevant to my interests. Beyond these personalized features, TikTok relies on the collected data to improve the overall performance and efficiency of the app, making the user experience smoother and more engaging.

I think netflix use my viewing history data to personalize my entertainment experience, movies recommendations, resume watching feature.

I believe we all know what Youtube is. According to my phone, I've got an average of 10 hours of screen time on Youtube (not yet accounting for my use of this platform on other devices). To my knowledge, Youtube collects a variety of user data, especially for the purpose of tailoring one's homepage using their algorithm. Things such as viewing habit (past & present), engagement, frequently viewed topics, etc... are often used for this algorithm.
