She needed a name in order to become even more popular and so that people could spread the word. Kevin was against it but Stacy still went through with it and they signed the contract, giving these guys 51% of the company and control over Stacy and Kevin. They very quickly realized this was a mistake and they had Lost customers and the whole sense of what the store was meant to be like. When Stacy tried to buy the company back the guys said she would have to pay double what they bought it for (1.3 million dollars).
