Positive Behavior intervention and support implementation in a school wide setting. School wide positive behavioral intervention and support (SWPBIS) are combined with a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) within the school system.

The IAT bias test result was surprising to me. It noted that I preferred physically able people over physically disabled people. I found that to be interesting since my career over the years has been working with individuals who are disabled. I agree that I choose my words appropriately when talking to physically able people and become kinder to those physically disabled.

https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/timeout.html

I was surprised at the results of the test it suggested that I preferred light-skinned Asians over darker-skinned Asians. This test is wildly inaccurate It chooses the answers for you instead of setting up a test based on autonomy sentence examples. I am an African American female who has been discriminated against since childhood because of my skin color. I understand how emotionally and physically hurtful that can be. This helped me understand how people still have difficulties within our race with color in their own communities. I can improve myself by helping my own community as a school counselor by teaching the importance of learning self-pride, especially to our young children. I am neutral, I choose neither light-skinned nor dark-skinned Asian people. We should not see colors but respect each other as human beings.

https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/timeout.html

I chose this topic because autism is one of the most interesting diagnoses that scientist is still studying. Scientist have said that it is not genetically inherited, nor have it's been proven that any children shown signs of autism after receiving vaccination. There are 1 out of 36 children diagnosis with autism every year. However, you cannot always identify an individual with autism; there are different levels of autism. The diagnosis ranges from high to severe. It is important that we educate the community about the diagnosis to let people know that it is not a disease but a neurological disorder. https://infograph.venngage.com/view/c123a10b-9109-4d00-8fd8-36e61e086321

What is Autism Spectrum Disorder? | CDC

Ways to Engage | Autism Speaks
