We understand that EI allow us to have a better overview during a discussion and Stress Management allow us to perform our daily tasks easily. Lastly, we used 4A to filter which tasks we can handle to resolve the issues, without paying much attention to those tasks that is out of our control.

During this programme, we've learnt how to categorize mentalities like stress, emotions, mindset into good or bad. We need to be fully aware of our own mental health to avoid unnecessary breakdown. When we are able to recognise our mental health, we'll be able to achieve more, either in work or life. Special thanks to the company for this training!

The most valuable insight I have gained is that personal growth is a slow, ongoing journey, and it is more important to be consistent than perfect. I have learned to understand my strengths and weaknesses, slow down, and take care of myself such as hitting the gym, eating healthier, thinking things through, and traveling to recharge. Celebrating small wins and learning from setbacks has made me more resilient, and confident as I work toward becoming my future self <3

I also learned the importance of seeking feedback from subordinates and building mutual trust to ensure smoother work progress and to develop a stronger team. At the same time, I have come to appreciate that being corrected by my superior is sometimes beneficial, as it allows me to reflect and improve my performance for the future.

Reflecting on my journey toward becoming my future self, the most valuable insight I’ve gained is the importance of emotional intelligence. Being introduced to how EI works has helped me better understand myself and so my emotions and reactions. Instead of dismissing my feelings, I’ve learned to acknowledge and validate them, which allows me to respond more thoughtfully rather than react impulsively. This self-awareness has given me clarity, helped me think forward with intention, and guided me to make wiser, more grounded decisions in both my personal and professional life.

Learning to regulate our emotions helps us stay calm and think clearly, especially in challenging situations. It allows us to respond thoughtfully rather than reacting impulsively, which leads to better decision-making and healthier relationships. By understanding and managing our emotions, we can reduce stress, improve communication, and handle conflicts more maturely. Over time, emotional regulation also supports personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
