All of the apps are easy to use, can be accessed any time, and make the student engaged. Professors are able to check student's understanding, making learning fun.  Since we rely on technology today, incorporating it in the classroom allows the students to get used to working with different types of educational platforms. This also prepares them for the real world and makes them competent. Students are able to no only follow on with their professor's lecture/presentations (Mentimeter), can refer to the material at any time (helpful if they miss the point or are sick). It is also easier for professors to manage the classroom, grade student's work and update their content w/o having to provide handouts in class which students would most likely lose.

Teachers are now able to see and evaluate where their students are and how much of the information they have obtained so far. It makes learning more fun and a lot more interesting. When Meg was doing all the different technology with us it made me realize all the stuff I missed when I was in grade school. I always thought we had a lot of technology but now a days there is so much more. And I think all of these things will just continue to make teaching and learning a lot more engaging and real life.

What I mean by this is that students are able to get direct feedback from teachers learn from their mistakes almost immediately. In addition, it allows for student to gain tech skills on their own through trouble shooting and trial and error. For example, from the session we had, we talked about how second graders are helping the teacher fix problems and work around the restrictions. Technology also always everyone's thoughts to be equal. There is no calling on students, especially when male students are still called on more than females. Not one student gets to share, rather all of the students have the same opportunity. With all of the apps that are now available for teaching, it allows for learning to be more engaging and fun. For example, Flipgrid allows student to make videos on a related topic or as a form of formative assessment. Although, the videos can be silly and creative allowing students to have fun with it. Students love technology, especially kids these days.
