Then later in the book she realizes that someone stole something very valuable in the house, and she finds out who stole it. The book is awsome mostly sad but awsome it’s about a girl that lives in Afghanistan and she is treated bad and her mom and sister don’t really like her but her dad did and when he when’s to prison because he whent to collage in England so they thought he would think like the British and have British ideas. So they arrested him because and beat him. And when Parvanna and her mom whent to the prison were they got beet because she showed them a photo witch the afgaghns made illegal for some reason. And so they tore the only photo they had of there father to pice and hit Parvanna and her mom with sticks and when they came home they were cover in red lines from the sticks, bruises and blisters on there feet from walking many many miles when there used to staying inside because women aren’t aloud outside. And her father was the only man in the house so they made Parvanna Dress up as a boy so she could go outside.
