In this video we watched, we heard that Trump is against the African immigrants who are coming to United States. All this happened in january 2018, so it's recent.
Trump thinks that Africa is a "shithole" continent. So, he doesn't want them to harm his country. 
It's a problem because he said that during an official meeting, so all the planet can see it, and it gives a very bad image of the United States. As a president, it's not appropriate to say such things. In addition, he even says to a journalist "I am the least racist that you have ever met", instaead of apologize.
