Thank you so much for being an amazing teacher. Thank you for bringing fun and enjoyment to learning math. I still remember being in your Algebra 2 class in Sophomore year and thinking to myself that you are the best math teacher I've ever had. I still remember slamming my head into the desk accidentally just to show you. I'm sorry for being so weird sometimes. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and joy for the subject. You've always been there when I needed help and you've always made sure that even when I didn't, you were there for any questions. I will miss you very much! I hope that we stay in touch and I will let you know of my future endeavors :). Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm so thankful for all the early mornings and prep periods that you spent helping me. There’s no other teacher at QLS who has put in the amount of effort as you have to help their students. From making your own personalized student math workbook, to endless amounts of office hours…you’ve done so much for us. Thankfully, we could meet again in-person before graduation and hear all the stories of your life! I’m going to miss you so much. Stay in touch!

Thank you so much for being the kind, supportive, and approachable teacher that you are. I can’t believe how three years have flown by since the first time we met. Thank you so much for spending your mornings helping us review for tests and your prep periods and even summers guiding us through our IAs. You helped us not only understand the subject, but also use it in our daily lives and actually apply it in areas we’re passionate about. In fact, I never realized that there was so much of a connection between ping pong and math before I began working on my IA with you. Thank you for all your help and support i’m junior and senior year. You are the best math teacher I’ve had and really helped me restore my confidence in myself when it comes to math. In fact, you are also one of the best teachers I’ve had in high school all together. You’re so patient, flexible, and understanding when it came to explaining concepts, making time for me, or accommodating tests and deadlines when I was absent or struggling. You’ve been so supportive of me and my friends throughout high school and I can surely say that almost no other teacher has been as helpful as you have been. Even during summer, you constantly met with me and gave me resources for my IA, which I greatly appreciate. I cannot express my gratitude for you in a way that would completely encapsulate my gratitude for you. I’ll really miss you and I hope we can keep in touch! Thank you for all you’ve done!

Ms. Hakki - you are honestly the best math teacher I've ever had and one of the best teachers I've had in Quarry Lane!! From the time you spent answering each and every one of my hundred questions to the extra help you gave me for my IA, you always make sure to give us your 200% effort. I cannot express how grateful I am for you reminding me how much I love math and how fun it can be if taught in an exciting way!
So, thank you for the flexible office hours, for the handwritten workbooks, for giving us access to every resource you have, and for sharing your stories about your life with us. I'll miss you so so much next year, but I know that there will be another class this fall who will be incredibly lucky to have you as their math teacher. Hope we can keep in touch! Ms. Hakki,

I literally cannot explain how grateful I am to have had the chance to be your student. I absolutely hated math class since 8th grade so much that I used to dread that part of my day, but that all changed junior year. You always took your time to explain the concepts and made sure I understood them. You made sure that I understood my mistakes, and never let me feel discouraged when I wasn’t doing well in class. You are one of the most supportive teachers i’ve ever had, and always encouraged me to do better and push myself. Thank you for always asking everyone how our days were going because it showed that you truly cared for us. Thank you for being passionate about teaching and caring for all your students, because it inspires me to do the same with my career. You truly made a difference in my life Ms. Hakki!

I can’t express how thankful I am to have a teacher like you for the past two years! You’re the kindest teacher I ever met, and also one of the most passionate! Even though IB Math should have been a hard course, you made it so much easier and fun because of your teaching! You were always so understanding and compassionate with us, so it’s really sad that the school won’t have a teacher like you next year! Dear Ms, Hakki,

Thank you so much for everything you've done for us over the years. I've been in your class for three years now, and I can honestly say that you are the best math teacher I've ever had. Your patience, compassion, and energy restored my confidence in my math abilities. There are still things I remember from sophomore year pre-calc because you taught them so well!! You always made sure that we understood the material, and any mistakes we made, and your support during the IA process made writing and editing the final paper so much easier. I am also so grateful for all the hours you spent with me during office hours, explaining all the things I didn't understand. I have been a student of yours for two years now. I appreciate that you have been part of my highschool journey. Before coming to your class, I lost a lot of interest in math. I thought it was boring doing sets and sets of problems. After taking your class, I never loved math more. I found joy in problem solving and learning from all the practive. You’ve been my teacher for three years — and while I haven’t always been the best student, I can say with confidence that you are one of the most supportive, kind, and patient teachers I’ve ever had. Your excitement and passion for math is infectious. From all the worksheets you made for us and all the help outside of class that you offered, I can’t thank you enough for your constant support and compassion throughout the last three years!! You teach calculus and kinematics better than anybody I know — but you’ve also taught me how to stay positive, work hard, and believe in myself. Hello Ms Hakki!
Its is extremely tough to know that I will not be your student after 3 amazing years at Quarry Lane. The most memorable moments with you will always be how we worked every morning for my sophmore and junior years. You could not have been more patient ,and invested in my progress as a student here. I am eternally grateful for all the support and generosity you have expressed!

The students that you will be teaching in the future (who knows maybe it will be me again ) are very lucky and fortunate to have a teacher like you.

you are genuinely one of the most amazing teachers i have ever had! you are always so approachable and easy to go to for help, and I really appreciate that. You also ask for students advice and change the curriculum or the agenda to help us even more and I think that’s amazing. Thank you for all the good memories you gave me from your class, you really showed me what a good teacher should be like.
