E~"If I looked like that, I swear to god, I'd put a hood over my face everyday" said the Julian voice, kind of laughing. 

E~Darth Sidious is Julian in the costume.Ever since Julian saw August, he instantly disliked him and poked fun at his face. Julian always find ways to humiliate August and make him feel insecure. However, August never let Julian feel the satisfaction of making August upset, he would never show Julian his true emotions. Which was admirable.

In the real world, there will always be bullies like Julian Albans in Beecher Prep. This can be seen from the line “He (Julian) put his fingers on his cheeks and eyes of his Darth Sidious mask.”  in reference to how he thinks August looks. This shows that Julian is a bully as he directly insults August by comparing his looks to a hideous fictional character and entirely disregards  August’s feelings. Bullies like Julian can also be found in the real world who bombard others with hateful and mean comments with little regard as to how their actions may affect their victim. In the real world, there will always be bullies like Julian in Wonder. This suggests that in the real world, there are very closed minded people such as Julian that judges people based off their appearance without truly getting to know them, and completely ignores August’s feelings. It shows how ignorant Julian is in Wonder, a small representative of how people are in the real world, as people say hurtful things to others without having thought about their feelings.
