This is an activity I have students do in groups. I give them each paragraph in the document separately, and don't give them the instructions all at once but in a step by step progression. Once they've determined which example is strongest and we've discussed as a class why, I have them do the final step individually, and then we edit example #3 together as a whole class (using the doc on my computer, projected for them).
