So much was happening so fast for Jack, that he did not tell his wife the truth about what he thought was in the bathroom of room 217. This proves that Danny is right, therefore he has the Shining and can see into future moments. The book made my heart race out of fear, and the person who reviewed this book did a great job explaining that. The summary is accurate, and Danny's condition is explained very well. This book certainly grabbed my attention and is successfully scary. One moment you will hear about Jack, the next about Danny or Wendy. Sometimes there is a narrator, and sometimes you can know what the characters are thinking. It is interesting to get into the thoughts of three different people because they all connect together eventually.
