Hello, Mrs. Cruz this is your student Madison Dean I know my grades haven't been the best of them, but I have been through a lot this year with my mother passing away than three months later taking care of my sisters kids (13 and 9), but a lot of people said your going to have to do another year of high school over and over but I got a email today at 10:10 am "Congratulations! You are being promoted to to high school!! You are invited to attend the 8th grade promotion ceremony!" You helped me make it to high-school when everyone else besides close friends and my dad had no faith in me you didn't you knew what I was capable of so I thank you for showing me that I am smarter than what people say that a test does not define what I can and can not do so I thank you.

This year has been the best of all! I enjoy being in your class and learning new things every time I log in. You are the best math teacher! It is so sad to go off to high school because I will miss you. Though, as the school year comes to a close, I just want to thank you for everything! Thank you so much for changing Dean's perspective of math. He truly struggled the 1st semester under Ms. Guell, but has truly flourished under your teaching this semester. At one point this year, he had a "D", but just today you acknowledged him for being one of the top students in math this past week. You have not only helped his grades, but also his self esteem and attitude toward difficult subjects. And to me, those are more important than any grade.

So here's the thing. At first when I started here I thought that your teaching style was a little different and a little confusing. But after a couple months I realized that your teaching way is not that different to me you don't go threw the lesson you take what we give you and break it down more then the lesson does. I am sorry I judged you and I am happy to of had you as my math teacher.Your a amazing teacher and you inspire me to be the best me I can be. Thank you for helping me and pushing me to raise my grades each and every week. and I will truly miss you. Be great and stay awesome, keep inspiring kids like me to grow and do great i school no matter where they are. Not only did you help me with bettering my grades but because of you and my English teacher you helped me find my best friend, I know a little different then most people but its true. Her name is Madison M Dean, we met in your class and then we got into a fight so we stopped talking. For some strange reason we went from never being paired to being paired all the time. So we made up, I know you didn't mean to help us but you did so thank you so much.

Mrs. Cruz, you're definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had. Thank you so much for encouraging me... even more than my parents do. My favorite thing about you is that you actually care when someone doesn't understand, and you listen when they ask for help. You're an amazing teacher! Have a great summer, and keep being awesome.
