I hope you enjoy this fun project! You will need some vegetable oil, liquid food coloring, a medium-sized piece of cardstock, preferably white or a light color (or cut a piece of cardboard from a box).

In a small cup, pour some vegetable oil and add a few drops of liquid food coloring of your choice. (you can make a few of these cups with different colors) Stir until the color is mostly small droplets. Pour some water (about an inch) into a baking dish. Pour some of your oil/food coloring mixture into the baking dish along with the water. Lay your cardstock on the surface of the water/oil/food coloring mixture. Take it out and lay it, color side up, on a paper towel to dry. When it’s dry, cut it up into the shapes you want and use it to decorate a card or make a new piece of art!

I’d love to see your finished project! You can email it to me at kmadden@fbalions.org
**How did the swirl in this art differ from the project with the shaving cream?
