Less than a month later the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea is established. something good about this was south Korea got established. which means a motivated and educated populace is largely<strong><br><br>anuary 12, 1950- </strong>U.S. Secretary of State outlines a U.S. Pacific defense posture that includes Japan but does not include Korea. this is because it got more people involved so they would not have to fight. <br><br><strong>June 25, 1950-</strong>A massive <a href="https://www.britannica.com/technology/artillery">artillery</a> barrage from the North signals the beginning of the <a href="https://www.britannica.com/event/Korean-War">Korean War</a>. this was good for north Koreans because they got advantages.<br><br></div><div><strong>September 12, 1950-</strong>North Korean troops reach their farthest point of advance. Although thousands of UN troops have arrived to reinforce South Korea.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>January 4, 1951- </strong>Chinese and North Korean forces recapture Seoul.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

They both didn't want to directly fight so they got north Korea and south Korea involved. The United States ended up winning and the spread of communism didn't happen. this war connects to the present day because when south and north Korea came back when their war finished their mental health was very bad. and the US economy became bad.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
