Haiti's population, unlike others Caribbean islands, have African origin. French and Haitian Creole is their official language. The value of currency is Haitian Gourde. </div>]]></description>

Settlers from the UK settled during the 1600s and ruled from 1632 to 1981 except from a few years when the French people ruled during the 1660. The slavery ended in 1834 and from 1860 Antigua and Barbuda was a British colony. From 1958 to 1962 the islands were a part of the West-Indian federation, and it became an independent state in 1981. <br><br></div><div> <br><br></div><div> <br><br></div>]]></description>
