Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He was one of the people who made the telephone. The reason why he decided to make the telephone is because one of his family members was deaf. By age 16, he had joined his father in his work with the deaf and soon assumed full charge of his father’s London operations. When they were visiting America they decided to move there because it was safer.
Source:
https://www.biography.com/inventor/alexander-graham-bell
