From the artwork, i can see the usage of multiple tones of colors to create this artwork which also shows Kandinsky’s move towards abstract painting. The painting comprises of a collage of a variety of semicircles, twisting lines and vibrant burst of colors. Twirl piles of matter spread all over like waves lit up by lightning flashes and soaked in thundery rainfall. This seems to create a universal calamity impression. It seems like kandinsky is trying to relate to different kinds of music theories as well. Kandinsky’s artwork also consist of a compositional structure consisting of a multitude of oppositions and contrast of colors and form which produces disorienting and conflicting effects that he faced during the process of painting.

Kandinsky’s artwork is expresses the communion between artist and viewer as being available to both the senses and the mind (synesthesia). Hearing different tones and chords as he painted, Kandinsky theorized that ,for example, yellow is the colour of middle C on a brassy trumpet; black is the colour of closure, and the end of things; and that combinations of colours produce vibrational frequencies, akin to chords played on a piano. This artwork is also a window into the world of music, almost able to depict a musical piece being played in one’s head. The curves and random lines represent notes coming together to form sentences in a song, the climax of the piece, the fasts and slows in the music. The lines that are close together suggest musical strings that come together to vibrate and create music.

A schematized pink-toned embryo, floats in the upper-right corner, while the figures contained within the green rectangle in the upper-left corner resemble microscopic marine animals. Various Actions is imbued with similar organic figures hovering above a celestial blue field. These buoyant, biomorphic images, often presented in pastel hues, may be read as signs of Kandinsky’s optimistic vision of a peaceful future and hope for postwar rebirth and regeneration.
Kandinsky's work introduces an astonishing variety of organic and playful motifs inspired by biological and zoological imagery culled from scientific writings. His works suggest ideas of transformation and rebirth. It is a vigorous painting that has an astonishingly light touch. The enigmatic feeling pervading this mature work is reinforced by a set of mysterious steps at the right, which lead nowhere in particular but are possibly emblematic of an ascent to a higher spiritual plane. Kandinsky considered this harmonious canvas to be one of his most important works of that time.
