         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning Outcomes:&nbsp;<br>1.9 Debate the ethical and sustainability issues that arise from their consumption of goods<br>and services and evaluate how they can contribute to sustainable development<br>through consumer behaviour<br>2.5 Investigate the positive and negative impacts on a community of an organisation from<br>an economic, social and environmental perspective<br><br>I would summarise the article into a PowerPoint format asking many open style questions to push a class debate on sustainable issues including manufacturing of a whole fleet of buses and the creation of jobs.&nbsp;<br><br>I would then have pupils research how damaging the creating of new buses will be including the production of batteries against the positive impacts that the new buses will have on the environment.&nbsp;<br><br>Pupils will also compare the Irish sustainable economic issues such as this against a county with excellent sustainability history and another one with poor sustainability history and present their findings.  <br><br>This could also slightly play into the theme of self-driving vehicles and what means for a sustainable economy.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
