I also have heard a lot of interesting information and stories about Guadeloupian history, culture and traditions.
We discussed about the multiculturalism and its influence on our lives and our society. 
What is more, I read about the sustainable leaving and the importance of ecological lifestyle.
I also found out what means to be a global citizen and what is internationalism.
Furthermore, we was talking about the key competences and the impact of Erasmus+ projects on us (teachers) and our school.

I discovered how much depends on each other. How important are these interdependencies between countries. We must remember that we are not only citizens of our country or Europe, but also of the world. Everything is interconnected❤️

Multiculturalism is part of our lives, we should act locally but think globally. 

During the course I learned albo a lot of important information about Guadwloupe. How important mangrove forests are to the environment, the impact of winds and hurricanes on the appearance of the island and much, much more!

I learned the sad story of slavery in the Caribbean. Experienced local music. I met a wonderful group of children and teachers. I tried local dishes. We visited the museum "Carribbean Center for the History and Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Slavery".  The visit to Saint-Antoine market in Pointe-a-Pitre offered a journey into yhe world of Creole flavours and aromas.
We learnt the "compas" are the most popular types of the Island.
Environmental education can play an important role in this direction by preparing students for future global problems.
We learnt about Internationalisation.
Challenges that can affect the learning development of children with immigrant backgrounds are:
- Those related to immigration
- Those related to the socio-economic context of the host country and the political situation
- Lack of assessment of children's academic background.
We learnt about the "Survey of International Work" and the Eight Key Competencies that are a combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes.
