This station has a very modern architecture, and you can see that by the shape and the materials that the station is made up of. This station shows how the architecture changes with time since this station has a curved shape and is made up of mostly metal and glass, while the buildings in the colonial times are made with bricks and have a very standard house shape. This station also has a large effect on human transportation, it allows people to travel to places faster and with a low budget. This station also offered job opportunities to some unemployed people. Even though this temple is small, it includes many of the essential parts of a temple. The roof of this temple is made up of Chinese styled tiles, and beneath it is small and delicate art carved out of wood. Even though there has been some repair work done to this temple, it still includes the original structure and artworks. This temple is one of the oldest temples in HK, built 133 years before the British occupation, but the change in times didn’t affect the structure and religion of this temple one bit. At first, Cantonese people only strictly drank tea and were disgusted by the British's habit of adding milk and sugar to the tea, thinking it was rude and “destroying HK’s culture”, but then, after time passed, people started to accept even enjoy the sweet tea. Even though there is a lot of sugar in the tea, it also has numerous health benefits, such as protecting your liver and helping with diabetes management. Surprisingly, this hotel is not only a luxury hotel, but it is also a huge turning point for HK, and it also includes a lot of history. This hotel started with only six floors, but then 30 more stories were added behind the original hotel making it taller and fitting in more with modern architecture. This hotel also helped HK a lot economically since famous and rich people started to visit the hotel, and this was made easy with the opening of the Victoria harbour.
