Build Trust and Partner Authentically

I did a great job with working under the surface and get buy in from my team who has been at our community for 6+ years. Coming in and getting to know them and not only their professional goals but also their personal goals, really opened them up and getting their buy-in. Next year I can leverage those relationships to continue to develop talent.

See it and address it, enroll the team: I started off the year strong addressing concerns and bars/goals that were not being met, and let people know what the expectations were. I also spent a significant amount of time building relationships with my team so they would not only trust me, but see me as a resource

Disrupted plans, schedules, priorities when current plan doesn’t yield desired results! (teacher swap to move more effective teacher to tested class; moved students out to accelerated)
