The color schemes of packaging and scents of these products can be said to be more "attractive" towards one gender than the other. However, in the end, the only difference between the products are how they are perceived by consumers. Ingredients among "male" and "female" products are similar, if not the same, and their functions are exact. Two products that struck me the most were razors and deodorant. These commodities serve the same purpose, whether they be branded towards males or females, however because of their packaging and brand ambassadors, they are made different. Prices of these products can vary based on the specific gender they are marketed towards; "female" razors and deodorants are slightly more costly. Likewise, hair dyes are branded towards women by using pictures of females on their boxes.
